The Pulaski Yankees Season is Now Underway
Things are heating up in the New River Valley, and in Pulaski things are about to get really hot. The Pulaski Yankees season officially begins today in Johnson City, but their season at home won't begin until this Friday, with Calfee Park lit up once more while fans pack the seats.
Fans have a few bonuses to look forward to on Friday alongside the usual ballpark fun. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a 2019 Pulaski Yankees Magnet Schedule, so you'll be able to easily stay up to date on the Yankees season this year. After the game is over, spectators will be treated to a fireworks show, the first of three that will be presented after home games this season.
After this Friday, two more games are planned for the remainder of the weekend. The times for each game will remain the same on Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 PM, with other promotions planned for each game in particular. Saturday's game will feature FanFest, with gates opening early for a concert with live music from Eric Gress and an autograph signing session with players from the Yankees roster. Sunday night's game will feature Little League Night, in which youth sports teams are invited to participate in a pre-game baseball clinic with select Yankees players.
With Calfee Park alive with the sights and sounds of baseball, this summer is shaping up to be one of the best in the Town of Pulaski's recent memory. We hope you're as excited for this season of baseball as we are, and we look forward to enjoying the games alongside you, the fans! If you'd like to order tickets ahead of time, you can do so on the Pulaski Yankees website, by phone at 540-980-1070 or at the Pulaski Yankees box office right outside the park.
