Sewer Pump Station Information

Due to the incredibly overwhelming amount of rainfall and rapid flooding that occurred in the New River Valley from Hurricane Helene over the past few days, the Town has experienced technical failures in the pumps at the sewer pump stations. The DEQ has been notified, and Town staff have been working around the clock to coordinate with them and all parties who can assist and get the necessary repairs taken care of as quickly as possible in these extreme conditions. Even though this is causing overflow issues, because of the location being downstream from the water treatment plant, there is no public health danger to the citizens in regard to the use or consumption of their water. There is no boil notice for the Town of Pulaski, and your water is safe to continue use as normal. As we have repair updates, we will share them here and on the Town of Pulaski Facebook page.
