Jaycees To Host Drive-Through Christmas Parade
With the holidays right around the corner, many people have been curious about this year's Christmas Parade. The Pulaski County Jaycees have been working hard to make changes to ensure that the parade can be held while following social distancing guidelines, and we're ready to help them get the word out!
This has been a topsy turvy year in more ways than one, and this Christmas parade is no exception. In fact, it's quite the 'reverse' from previous years. This year the parade will sit still while you, the spectator, get to enjoy everything from the comfort of your car! The parade will line the sides of Main Street; all you have to do is drive through to enjoy the holiday cheer. The parade route will begin at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Main Street, and will be in place from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 3rd.
Sidewalks will be blocked! We're asking you to enjoy the parade from your car, so we can all stay safe and healthy for the holidays.
If you are interested in being a part of the parade itself, the Pulaski County Jaycees would love for you to join in the celebration! Contact Lin Martin at 540-577-1197 to let her know you want to participate. Applications will be taken until November 30th.
