The summer concert series in Jackson Park will begin on June 27 with The Billy Crawford Band. The Billy Crawford Band plays contemporary rhythm & blues and has released 5 CD's on the Triple Shot label. The band formed in 2002 after Billy Crawford came off the road with Deborah Coleman. While with Deborah, Billy recorded on four of her Cd's and is featured on her latest Cd. He also toured extensively with her, traveling to 20 countries world-wide in five years. The Billy Crawford band features Pulaski native Keith Chinault on drums and vocals.
The concerts are free to the public and a food vendor is available to sell food and drinks. So bring your blankets or chairs down to the park and enjoy the summer sounds. Concerts start at 6:30 pm.
